Avoid and ditch the mind- numbing pain.

DON’T GET MAD – Stress triggers tension headaches. When you feel the ache build up as you argue with your man, just try to cool down—or else you’ll be suffering from a tension headache for anywhere from 30 minutes to a week. (Yes, that’s how long it could last)

HAVE GOOD POSTURE – Muscle tension causes tension headaches. Having good posture helps keep your muscles from tensing up. So, when standing, hold yours shoulders back and your head high. Then, pull in your abdomen and tuck in your chin.

DON’T BRING TOO MUCH – If you’re going to be on the move all day long, don’t carry a bag that weighs more than two pounds. The heavy load will just stain your muscles.

GET RELIEF ASAP - Treat tension headaches right at the onset. Rest, ice packs, or a hot shower may help. You could also take over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen. But, if the pain persists, see a doctor immediately.

Everyone wants to save today and with the rising costs of necessities, it is important to put aside funds for emergencies and other savings goals. Saving is not only depositing large sums of money into a bank account. Cost cutting techniques can boost the amount of disposable income and this increases the savings potential. While it is strongly encouraged that families enjoy their earnings, it is better to minimize the amount of money that trickles out of the budget by using techniques that can increase the piggy bank’s holdings.

Buy Used to Cut Costs – While some people frown on buying used items, a trip to the thrift store can save money. At some thrift shops, pots, coats, books, cribs, child seats, plates, silverware, clothing, telephones and many other items can be found. Persons on a tight budget can definitely benefit by saving on the cost of buying the needed item at full price by buying used.

Walk More, Drive Less – Consider walking short distances instead of driving especially when running errands. Walking provides exercise and relieves the stress of searching for a parking space. This also saves time. Reduce spending on gas while keeping fit running errands.

There is an endless variety of skin care products and treatments to choose from, but there are also easy ways to take care of your skin that don’t require leaving the house or spending big bucks. Keep a teaspoon in the freezer to wake up tired puffy eyes. Cucumber slices or wet tea bags will do the trick as well. If you have oily skin, squeeze some lemon juice into cold water and splash this on your skin for a natural astringent. For a moisturizing face mask, beat together an egg yolk and a teaspoon of olive oil. Don’t cook it, though spread the mixture on your face, keep it on until it dries, then use warm water and a face cloth to gently wash off the mask, revealing glowing skin underneath. Yoghurt can also be used as a skin care treatment to soften both the face and hands.
